Viroids are a group of naked circular RNA molecules that
infect plants. Viroids causethe infected plant cell to make
viroid RNA using host cell enzymes.
The host plant'smetabolism that directs plant growth and
development is affected and the plant maybe stunted and
die. A viroid is an iinfectious molecule.
