Is the part of NT Kernel that provides native NT
API/Interface to various subsystems such as Win32, POSIX,
etc.
Consists of the following components:
- Common Cache (Cache Manager)
- IO Manager
- Object Manager
- Memory Manager
- Security Manager
- Config Manager (Registry Access)
- Process/Thread Manager Scheduler
- PNP Manager
- RTL (Run Time Library)
