interview is on 16-10-2008.So pls tell me what questions
are asked in the interview and tell me the reference book
for interview in sbi.

Hi friends. This is Vijay. I just read the above forum
for a month for getting the interview questions. I think
this is the right forum to discuss various doubts.
Some of the points I received from one of my colleague who
recently joined SBI as Clerk.
The ratio of appearance is 1:3, the sl.no. does not give
any indication about the no.of persons called for
interview. The SBI as earlier informed by one of our
friends, is rapidly entering the marketing field and they
need marketing executives to sell all their products at
commercial markets like ICICI. We need to sell the
products and achieve the targets. So, the questions mostly
related to Marketing, Degree subject and Economics of
present day scenario. The interview may last only maximum
of 15 minutes and AGM and DGM of the zone level may conduct
these interviews. Minimum of six boards will be formed and
each may consist of 3 to 4 members. If we don't know any
answer, we may just say sorry which will be appreciated.
I have my interview on 22.10.2008 at Madurai, Tamil Nadu.

I have cleared the UBI clerical xam. interview on May 18th. can anyone know abt how many years it will take to promote or they can allow to write xam for officer grade after entered as clerk in a bank? what are the xams to be wriiten for promotion or name of the xams .
Hi people. My name is John. First of all i would like to thank you and congratulate you all for the successful completion of the interview and hope that the best man/woman walks away with the job. I post here my request for answers to a few questions related to the interview process. I gave my interview in Delhi on 4th may 2010 at the SBI Learning centre in noida. I would like to know the following: 1: how many centres were there in delhi for the purpose of interview? 2: when was the first and last day (duration) of interview in delhi? 3: were the candidates called according to the merit after the written test or was it alphabetical. if it was neither, then how were they calling the candidates? 4: also what are the chances of a candidate who thinks that the interview did not go according to his plan? There is still hope isn't it? 5: do people "horse trade" vacancies (perfect opportunity for somebody's uncle or someone's greased up mla recommendation for a candidate; since sbi taking this long for a result.)? I definitely hope tht the crpd do us a big favour by releasing the results soon. thanks in advance to all those who are kind enough to rest the ghosts in my mind.
