HVDC means High Voltage Direct Current...
Some of the advantages are can transmit high voltage. No
reactive and capacitance as in AC.Transmission cost is
less... Even one conductor is enough with another conductor
is earthed.Control of magnitude is possible.
Interconnection of asynchronous networks is possible..
