what is the severity we give. login fails eventhough we
enter the correct username and pwd.

I think this may not be a bug in the application, and it
can be problem with the build and with the Data Base
connection.
If it is with incremental build, if u r unable to login in
to the application this build is failed in Smoke Testing so
we will deploy the build again in the test environment and
check it once again and then we will reject the build and
request for another version. Here we can not disturb the
existing testing process.
And it is a priority issue to be fixed not a severity 1 bug.
Please correct me if I am wrong.
