I have qualified in the sbi clerical test .Now my
interview is on 16-10-2008.So pls tell me what questions
are asked in the interview and tell me the reference book
for interview in sbi.

i think u all r a bit too overstressed... plz don't forget
the simple fact that the eligibilty for this post was XII.
i guess all of us then are overcapable.. we should
concentrate more on the subjects of study that we r
pursuing at present and information about the bank which is
very well available on their website.. delving deep into
the commerce terms will only confuse you now.. better
concentrate on the current affairs, your aims n goals, a
straight mind and a confident smile since that is all it
takes to the position..
the question that "tell me about urself" is a very
important and tricky question since most of us think that
telling the interviewer about our certificates and
achievements will impress him/her but actually it will only
sound overconfident. the answer should basically describe
you as a person, ur ability to work and take up new
challenges.. your qualification are all known to them..
it is very clearly mentioned in the call letter about the
character certificate.. school n college certificate can't
be recent if you hav passed few years back.. only the one
issued by a gazetted officer has to be recent, like around
10-15 days..
regarding the dress code.. i guess girls should wear formal
indian wear, a decent and elegant pajami suit, n guys shoul
be in a shirt tucked in n trousers...

hey guys i attended my interview on 29th April in a delhi zone.They were asking so simple question that i was surprised. I preapred day and night for the interview collecting all the question from this link and other site as well as from GS book but they simply asked 1) tell us about ur family 2) about u 3) Why u want to join banking and not IT . 4) Advantages and disadvantages of computer. 5) Where is hawamahal. 6) about pink city 7) who discovered electron. 8) who invented telephone. that's all I think it was just waste of time preparing banking related questions.
