fatty acids like palmitic acid in the form of Acetyl-CoA
molecules, are broken down in the mitochondria to generate
Acetyl-CoA, the entry molecule for the Krebs Cycle. Inside
the mitochondria, the β-oxidation of fatty acids occurs by
1)Oxidation by FAD
2)Hydration
3)Oxidation by NAD+
4)Thiolysis .
