Carbon by weight varies from grade to grade.
JIS standard grades are
FC-15; FD-20, FC-25, Fc-30 FC-35
Iso Standard
Grade 15; 20; 25; 30 35; 40
Carbon: 1.5%; 2.0%; 2.5% 3.0% 3.5% Respectively;
Silicon 1- 3.0%
Manganese 0.2 - 1.0
Sulphur .02-0.25%
Phhosprous .02- 1.0%
