1.alluminium is cost wise less then copper so used in
transmission line
2.pure alluminium not directly used in transmission because
it have low mechnical strength in india we used Aluminium
Conductors Steel Reinforced (ACSR) because it have high
mechnical strength.
1.copper have low loss so we used in domestic purpose...
2.when compare to alluminium ,copper have good conductivity
but availability is less...
