It is the electromagnetic radiation between infra red light
and the atoms or molecule.
It is divided into three regions Near,Middle and Far.
range 650-4000 cm
Generally this technique is used for identifiaction of
molecules.
The spectra shows only which bonds[ single,double or
triple ]are presnet in the molecule.
