Try saying something like: "I do not know exactly how long
it will take me to make a significant contribution to the
organization. Until I am privy to some of the company's
goals and objectives that I would be asked to achieve, I
could not make that assessment. Could you share with me
some of the major goals of the organization and what you
anticipate the successful candidate to achieve in the first
3 months, 6 months or year?"
