It is SAP's support tool for methods, preconfigured content
that can be used through whole lifecycle of the project
(blueprint to configuration to production operation). It
provides central access to this content to all the users.
Its advantages or uses are that
1. All phases (blueprint, configuration) are implemented in SM
2. Central project document repository
3. Provides integrated project administration to manage
planning schedules, human resources and other project
requirements.
4. Provides e-learning material for end users training
5. Customizing synchronization by which you can compare and
synchronize customizations in different SAP components
6. Change requests management
7. Solution support with workflow to handle tickets.
