Rotor is taken away from three phase induction motor and
three phase supply is given to the stator. What will happen?
Answer Posted / vinod kumar t
an induction motor can be considered as a transformer whose
secondary is short circuited. if the rotor is taken out, it
wle be agts as a transformer whose secondary is open. hence
the motor wil draw only magnetising current which is of
very less in magnitude .
