what is the difference in inductance and resistance.both
oppose the flow of current but how.resistance having + ve
power in both cycle while inductance having both power.
Answer Posted / kishore
It only the resistance that opposes the flow of current,
where as the inductor opposes the 'change in current' not
the current flow. Once the current in the inductor is
constant there will not be any voltage across the inductor.
There is no power dissipation in inductor. what is there is
only energy storage, either positive or negative
