Build verificartion testing is sanity testing.Sanity
testing is intial level of testing.after Getting a build we
check all the major functionalities are working properly.
in my company we called this as a sanity testing.

There is only requirements document. You have 10 days and 8 resources to release the system.At the end of the 8th day u tell ur TL that system is ready for release. How will you proceed with the testing process or in other words what all approach you will follow once you get requirements

If you are handling a product testing and if there are around 100 test cases and in them few test cases are failed then at the end of the day how will you treat whether the product is pass/fail.? consider the failed test cases are in functional requirements.
