desktop applications means standard alone applications
hear 1.at a time only 1 user is allowed in application
2.in this frente end and back end is installed on a
single system
where as in client-server application
1.it is a menu driven application
2.two or more users at a time work on same application
3.client want any info it sends res to the server and sever
again sends particular res to the client
