it is a common repositary. that any one can access that.

All test documents like BRS documents, test plan, test
case documents..etc.. will be available in that.

that will be place on desktop. if u want to see
the test plan or any test case related to that project, u
can open the VSS.

suppose, in the middle of the project..u want to
check the customer requirements, or test plan or test cases
written by other members..u can go to VSS.

mai draw back of this is once one persone opened
the another person can not open untill he closed it.

so whenever u want to see test cases or any other
documents u just copy them and paste on any local folder.

Unit testing comes in to whitebox testing.

in Unit Testing the developer checks that all loops and
conditions in each program are working correctly or not.i.e
they check internal logic of the code. we do not involve in
this.

in black box testing we do not check internal logic.we
concentrate on external functionality only. developer
doesn't involve in this.

see... generally we can handle those pop up window exeptions
by writing If then statement and using exist method.

for example...

like this we can handle Pop Up window exceptions...try to
get control on script rather than QTP tool..

When u r giving Output value..

the properties box will open..in that u can get
details..where that value is going to be store..if u want to
change..click on modify..there u can select Datatable or
Environment.

by default it is RunTime Datatatable.

some time QTP fails to recognize objects even smart
identification is enabled..in this situation QTP will go for
Ordinal Identifier ( Index or Location Property )
