if u score good marks in main written exam whether u did well in interview or not, i m sure that u ll be selected.because in 2005 exam i did well in main written exam but my interview was not so good and so i thought that i would not be selected.but i got selected for the post of income tax inspector.so, if u can score around 400 marks in main written exam,i m sure that u ll be selected.....so what i want to say is that interview is not a big deal.....

i got i-t inspector in 2005 exam.the final result was declared on 15 december, 2007.but till now i ve not got the appointment letter.i ve been waiting for more than 1 year and i dont know how long i ve to wait.but i heard that some i-t inspectors have started their jobs......
in 2006 exam also, i had given interview.now i m waiting for the result also.....

before the final result of CGL exam -2006 comes,
seventh pay commission will come first.so no need
feel sad for not declaring the result till now.
the time when the result declares, the salaries of
all the posts will have been increased.....so be happy.....

some say that the result will come by january 9, some say between 20th and
30th january.all are rubbish.but i know when will the result come.the result will
come at anytime between january and december of 2009.this is 100% true information......so dont worry. result is coming soon.....just wait like we waited for the release of "Ghajini".....finally the film has been release.....likewise the result will also be published finally......

i expect that my maths score will be between 170 and 180.and
for GK i expect around 100.for those who can score
atleast 80% in maths and 50% in GK,i can say with 100%
surity that they will be selected provided they got
average marks in the remaining subjects whether they did
well in interview or not.....this is as
per my experience in the 2005 exam.....and also i
appeared the exam in hyderabad.....

I m writing this again to make everybody knows about the final cut-off
marks in 2005 exam.
Marks scored by the last slected candidates in the CGL
exam-2005:

Inspector(IT):SC(399),ST(377),OBC(434),UR(453)
Inspector(PO):SC(414),ST(395),OBC(445),UR(461)
Inspector(Examiner):SC(413),ST(404),OBC(455),UR(465)
Inspector(C.Excise):SC(428),ST(404),OBC(452),UR(471)
S.I in C.B.I:SC(408),ST(376),OBC(433),UR(457)
Asst. Grade in CSS:SC(419),ST(404),OBC(447),UR(462)

These marks are out of 700(600 for main written test+100
for interview)
In 2005 exam, 815 candidates were selected for the post
of income tax inspectors.
But for custom inspectors(PO),custom inspectors(Examiner) n Excise inspectors, I forgot the number but it was
less than 100 for each.
But I heard that in 2006 exam, few number of IT inspectors ll be
selected and a good number of custom and excise inspectors ll be selected.

I am also the one who get selected for the post of IT inspector.
But till now I have not got the appointment letter.

I was expecting 450 in inspector grade
in 2005 exam as i ve written above also.....
My expectation as per my calculations in each paper was.....

Arithmetic=165 approx.
General studies=110 approx
English=75 approx
Language comprehension=60 approx
Interview=50 approx.

Anyway.....

Ya I also heard that those who got in
Delhi,Mumbai,Chennai,Bangalore and some other cities
have already joined the department.
But I got in guwahati.I ve also asked to the department.
They said that i ll be given joining letter after the
completion of PVR but it was completed on 13 January.
I dont know what happen to all the government departments
starting from SSC.They are too slow in every process.After
waiting for a long time to know the final result, now I am
waiting another long time for more than 1 year after the
declaration of final result.

Rajendra Singh I appreciate u for your kind thinking that
"if u r selected in 2006 exam, then u ll not appear in
the 2008 main exam"
U told me that u r expecting maximum mark of 450-455.If
u score around this mark, I think ll get selection
in inspector grades.But it depends on the no. of
posts selected also.If more than 1000 candidates r to
be selected in inspectors grade, then u dont need to
worry if u can get around your expected mark.
In 2005 exam ,my interview was not so good but i expected
a score of around 450 and finally I got selected in IT
inspector.

I think u dont believe me.thats why
u r asking my roll no. in 2005 exam so that u can
know whether i was selected in 2005 exam or not.
what ll i get by lying here.I thought that i can be a
source of infomation about the cut-off marks and no.
of vacancies in the last exam and i ll be helpful
to let u know this.....and u people are
taking me in wrong way.....ok i ll tell u....

in 2005 exam was 6031844.....my rank was 462 out of 815
candidates selected for I-T inspectors...
Just check it out to know whether i m a liar or not.....
In 2006 exam also, i had given the interview.

And what i had written above about the cut-off marks
in 2005 exam was copied from the employment news.

And 1 news......
When my fren asked to the SSC delhi, they told him
that result may be declared next month but again they
also said that this news was not 100 % confirmed.

Today i called SSC office in Delhi.Here is the conversation
between SSC and I.

I: Hello is this SSC office in Delhi?
SSC: yes

I: Sir, can you tell me when ll the final result of CGL
exam-2006 be declared?
SSC: The final result will be declared in the last week of
this month.

I: But some people are saying that the result ll be
declared before CGL main exam-2008.What about this
information?
SSC:That information is wrong.I m telling you again that
the result will be declared in the last week of this month.

I:Are you sure?
SSC: Yes, sure.

I: ok, thanks for the information.....bye



So lets see what he told me comes to be true or not
in the next week.But these days its very hard to believe
SSC.They give different informations to different people.

this time a huge number of excise inspectors are selected.
the minimum rank which i found till now is around 2350.
that means more than 2350 excise inspectors are selected
this time.....
a good opportunities to many candidates of 2006 batch.....
