Hi,
Can anyone tell me if its really true that it takes nearly 2
- 3 years to get into job after successfully getting
selected in APSPSC group 1?
Answer / n. vijaya lakshmi
Not literally.
They say so because they count the days (rather, years)
from the day of starting preparation.
The Examination Process itself takes about 10 months to 1
year.
If you get selected to a sevice, you will then have a
training period of 12 months to 18 months according to your
service. For example, the Training Period for a Deputy
Collector is 12 Months, for DSP it is 18 Months (12 Months
of training in APPA and 6 Months Field Posting).
You will be provided full salary from the date of joining
the service, i.e., you will recieve salary even during the
period of training.

can we appear for UPSC exam after getting selected in group1 and joining the job?
Hello ..iam a proffesor in an enginnering college ..could i know if there are any evening batches for group-1 coaching..
Dear Friends I'm one among the Group1(mains) candidates, waiting for the results. Y'day(16th Oct-08) in ETV2 Pratidwani, the discussion on 'APPSC GROUP-1' suspected that the main exam may be cancelled and it was mentioned in the program, that Supreme court judgment may support the High court decision. Is it possible to cancel the exam at this stage? after making this much of efforts???
