you often get a more usable answer than e-mail, because they
are more likely to expand, where as in an e-mail they are
more likely to just say yes or no. And over the phone it's
tougher to take notes because you have to right word for
word, where as face-to-face, you can write some notes and
tape the rest so you can go back to it
