yrs and which company you own or which company do you work
for to travel to usa for business purpose!!!! you should
have all business required official docs in hand for the
interview!

Hi! First you should be clear what is your requirement,if u
want to go for a short time & your client is inviting u or
if all expenses will be borne by the company, tyhen only
only u can apply for B1 Visa(Business Visa. And if ur
requirement is more than 90days or 3 months, u should apply
for L1 Visa, in this also company will file a petition for
u.And rest of the procedure your Immigration will team will
help u on this.

r u working for any compay......B1 category is 4 Business
purpose...B2 category is for Tourist ........as per u ...i
find that u r little bit confused ....between
B1/B2...because they appear together...B1/B2......as u told
me age doesn't matter 21 or 20 ...if u want to go to
USA .....u have to do some formalities..need to deposit US
visa fees & VFs fees in HDFC bank ..u will get Receipts
(which also known as BAR CODE)..that bar code needs to
activate and it take 48 working hours...after u need to
fill only forms DS 156 & DS 157....submirt those forms and
need to take appointment online with US Embassy
(Chanakyapuri) New Delhi...thats it

B1 Visa is for Business travel and B2 is for tourism. As I understand, you wish to join your family in the US and hence want to apply for a tourist visa (B2). The downside is that they may look upon you as being desperate and there is a good likelihood that the visa will be rejected. Your case may also be marked as a suspect since you are applying for two categories (immigrant and non-immigrant) at the same time. This may not be illegal per se, but tourist visa is not the best category to take your chances. If I were you I would try to apply for some university/college there and try to get an F1. You can always claim that your long term goal is to study and settle in the US (hence the GC and F1 apps) but if the GC doesn't work out, you will come back to India and work there (and then hope that the GC works out). That way you will have a long term visa with potential H1B route, if the GC takes really long. You can also be sure to enter the US system and the job market in a strong way, unless your family has a business there.

I HAVE DENIED B1 VISA TWICE 1ST I CAN'T ABLE TO ANSWERS PROPERLY AND 2ND TIME I GOT CONFUSSED IN GIVING MY PAPER AND BOTH THE TIME I WAS SCARED OF INTERVIEW. THEN AFTER I WAITED FOR 3 MONTHS FOR NEXT INTERVIEW ? WHAT SHOULD YOU SUGGEST ME FOR 3RD TIME OF INTERVIEW?

I am an Indian studying in Germany for the past 2 years (from 2007). In 2008, I applied for a B1 visa and got rejected. And the counsellor gave the reason that i am not staying long enough to travel USA. At that time, I have completed 16 months. Now, 2009, again I am applying. And my interview will be on 22nd april. In the last time and this time, I have proper documents for attending the conference. My question is : what they really want to know those who want to travel to USA for 4 days?

Hi, I have applied the form for US visa. In this form i applied for a business visit visa(B1/B2). Although when i went to schedule the interview date the clas type B1/B2 falls under 2 categories(purpose of travel)i.e Business and Tourist. I cannot manage to get an interview date with Business but i can through Tourist(B1/B2) class visa. Can i go ahead an schedule an appointment through this way

Hi all , Today i attended the US B1 visa interview in chennai and unfortunately got rejected .They questions which were asked to me was: 1.Where place you are going? 2.Why you are going? 3.How many years of experience you have ? 3.My annual income? i answered all the questions confidently but i feel that i got rejected because of my years of experience and my income.I'm a fresher and having just 8 months of experience ? Does experience and annual income matter a lot?

My self was appeared twice for US visa interview and authority has rejected without any reason disclose, my self was going for business purpose to see the my vessel loading and meeting with the suppliers and i was carring the invitation letter from my supplier but authority rejected & only say "sorry for this time" . Is is there any connection to reject my visa with my us immigration file ? because my in-laws is US citizens and they have filed immigration file for my family memberes .
