tax invoice is issued by a registered dealer to a register
dealer.it shows the amount of tax seperately.in tax invoice
buyer can claim tax input credit.
retail invoice is used where amount of sales is very small
in number.tax is included in the amount charged.in retail
invoice buyer can not avail the tax input credit.

Tax invoice shows tax under the assessable amount however
in retail Invoice tax is already included in the rate of
the goods.

Tax Invoice is registered with tax department so its
include all details like TAN No., VAT / Sale Tax No. and we
can take credit of such tax which we paid. but in retail
Invoice is not any registration required so its not printed
any Tax Number,anyboday can give bill to customer.This bill
is one simple bill.Its not have any valu in Tax Department.
