Number of Backlogs = Number of Failed Subjects.
Example – Lets assume a student failed in 2 subjects and took 3 attempts per subject to pass the exam. So, total backlogs will count as 2.

Hi, Is "Absence" in Exam considered as a backlog?

Hey every attempt you take to write your exam after your
regular exam, till you clear is regarded as back log.
For example if you have failed in 2 subjects in first year.
Then you made 2 backlogs. Now obviously you will write
supplementary to clear those 2 subjects, right! and in that
exam if you clear 1 while in other you failed then your
backlog count will be 3. And in the next attempt if you fail
again then back log count will be 4. This will continue till
you pass all your subjects...
If you are trying for US then Visa officer may frown only to
those who have more than 7-8 backlogs...
But believe me I know lot of fellows who are in US with more
than 25-30 backlogs. Its all about trend and luck. But you
worry with 2-5 backlogs.

helo, I do not have a toefl scorecard. I reapplied for another but didnt recieve after that also. Does it cause a problem during my visa interview. Even if the VO doesnt ask for it, is it checked initially at the entrance gates.

But in DS 160 form I didnt mention about exp. I dont want to tell lie to them so I told about 3months work exp & later I told about leg surgery. But she didnt listen to my surgery. Hi, I have a visa interview tomm. I am applying for a F1 student visa. I have to attend school quickly and need my visa. My old passport got damaged. I applied for a new passport. Now will the visa authorities grant me a visa on my new passport or will they make a fuss and say that they would have to transfer the records from my old passport to my new passport and thus delay my process?

my surname is nanduru.in my passport it is given as nanduru only,but in my ssc to mbbs degree certificates it is given as nanduri.my i20 also recognised my surname as nanduru.i have my visa appointment on september 10.will it create any problem for me in my future?what is the solution if there is any?
