Parent segment is any segment that has a dependent segment
beneath it in it hiearchy.
Child segment is any segment that is a dependent segment to
another segement above it in the hiearchy.

A parent segment is the one which is having depedent
segments and a child segment is the one which is dependent
on the segment which is at high level than its level.

I have database, in that segment1 having dept code and segment 2 and so on multiple employees num. using dept & employee num we have to compare whether that employee belong to that dept or not, if that employee belongs to that dept then incentive is same same as in the table or else incentive must be zero? using IMS & cobol
