The photograph is not Passport size as we use it in India,
its around 50mm and square and white in background, u need
to ask ur photographer to get it done for US Visa.

Hello, i am planning to open a virtual store on a well know website in USA with two american business partners, they agreed to sponsor me and provide a residence for me, i will be responsible for managing as well as shipping & handling of the merchandise, i dont have any work experience in managing, my question is...can i apply for a working visa in US? I have applied for B1 visa as my company has selected my to attend Business meeting on its behalf. However, my own brother is currently staying in US as nonimmigrant. He had gone there representing his company. Would there be any problem for me in getting B1 visa for myself?

I am working in a big software company as a software engineer. Is it mandatory for US B-1 VISA to carry out the relieving letter of previoys company? I am asking this because i do not have relieving letter from my previous company. Is there any other alternative?

Hi, I am working for AllState India since from 1.8 years(Overall 4.8 years of experience) and I had applied for B1 visa during Jan-2014 and it got rejected coz of 214(b) section.I would like to brief about the questions that are asked during my interview. 1.Why I am travelling to USA. 2.For how many days you are travelling. *Ans*: 8 weeks (as mentioned in my invitation letter) and the purpose of travelling . 3. Interviewer felt the period is very long and cross questioned me why such a long period. *Ans* : Repeated the same reason as said above with elaboration. 4. Again cross questioned , the said schedule is only for 4 weeks and what is the schedule for remaining 4 weeks. *Ans*:Repeated the above answer. (May be here i went wrong) 5. Asked about my overall experience,Domain knowledge , took all relevant documents and come back with the rejection form. :-( Now its 9 months passed , so shall I reapply for B1 again? If so , what are the things I need to considered before re-applying? I am still working in the same company (AllState India) , but this time I am suppose to get the invitation letter just for 1 week and in April-2014 my salary also got increased(even my manager mentioned he will change the designation as well in the invitation letter). So is it safe to reapply? OR how can I improve the chances? Your help will be greatly appreciated!! Thanks, Seema
