Answer / swapna
Osmosis rate is slow when compared to diffusion why because
in osmosis molecules or ions moves from low concentration
to high concentration .In diffusion ions moves from hihh to
low concentration as this type of transport is passive
transport whereas transport in osmosis is active transport
needs external energy.
