Rigid constitution need not be only a writtenm one per se, as is noted evidently from the living and organic constitution India has.
A constitution which essentially can be declared as rigid is one, which provides no scope of amendment to meet the future needs and answer the contingencies of time henceforth the law of land is enunciated.( for instance the earlier forms of the French constitution which changed about 6 times!)
