Dipika" which is nothing but the "Bhagavad Gita" in
Marathi.... Mauli Jnaneshwar Maharaj is avathar of Maha
Vishnu... Lord Maha Vishnu wanted to do the Bhashyam
(explaining the meaning) the Bhagavad Gita himself. So to
fulfill the same he took the Janma as "Jnaneshwar" in ALandi
(Maharashtra) and wrote this Bhavartha Dipika which is
popularly known as Jnaneshwari..... Jnaneshwar Maharaj is
fondly called as "Mauli" meaning mother.....
