The tendency of the particles(molecules, atoms, ions, etc.)
of gases, liquids and solids to get evenly distributed
throughtout the available space on account of their random
kinectic motion is called diffusion.
Osmosis is defined as the diffusion of water (or solvent)
molecules from a dilute solution into stronger when the two
are separated by a semi permeable membrane. Commomly
osmosis is the entry of water(or solvent)into a solution(or
stronger solution)through a semi permeable membrane
