How would you differentiate between cluster and grid?
Answer / Alok Kumar Pankaj
A database cluster is a collection of servers that work together to provide high availability and scalability for an Oracle Database. It uses technologies like Data Guard or Real Application Clusters (RAC). On the other hand, a service-oriented architecture (SOA) grid comprises a distributed network of computers connected through standard Internet protocols. They share resources and work collaboratively but without the need to appear as a single system.
