Explain hash table?
Answer / Abhishek Dixit
A hash table, also known as a dictionary or associative array, is a data structure that stores key-value pairs and allows fast access to values using the corresponding keys. Each key is hashed into an index in the table, allowing for quick lookup of values by their associated keys.nnThe process of hashing consists of converting the key into an integer index using a hash function. Collisions may occur when different keys produce the same hash value, necessitating techniques such as chaining or open addressing to resolve these conflicts.
