The Lasso Tool is a selection tool in Adobe Photoshop used for freehand selection of irregularly shaped areas. It can be either the traditional Polygonal Lasso Tool, which creates a selection by drawing straight lines between points, or the Magnetic Lasso Tool, which automatically follows the edges of an object based on color and contrast.
