When you install Windows 7, the Setup program can run without a CD or DVD drive if your computer has a pre-installed version of Windows PE (Preinstallation Environment). Windows PE is a minimal operating system that allows you to start up and configure hardware for the installation of Windows. If your PC came with a pre-installed version of Windows PE, you can boot from it during the installation process, and the Setup program will automatically detect your computer's hardware drivers.nnAlternatively, if your PC doesn't have Windows PE, you may still be able to install Windows 7 by using a tool such as Rufus or UUByte ISO Editor to create a bootable USB flash drive with the Windows 7 installation files and the necessary drivers.
