I recall an incident during my tenure as a detective where a vital lead in a high-profile case went cold. Despite meticulous investigation, we were unable to locate the suspect for several weeks. This delay caused frustration and added pressure to solve the case promptly. However, I learned from this experience that setbacks are inevitable, but they should not deter us from our duty to serve justice.
