To perform a core upgrade in Drupal, follow these steps: 1. Backup your site. 2. Download the latest Drupal release from drupal.org. 3. Extract the downloaded file and upload it to your server, replacing the existing Drupal files. 4. Run updates.php in your browser (http://yoursite.com/updates.php). Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the upgrade.
