The user has chosen a windows instance with classic and the user want to make some change to the security group. How will these changes be effective?
Answer / Devendra Pratap Singh
Changes to the security group for a Windows instance in a Classic Network will only affect new instances launched after the changes have been made. To apply the changes to existing instances, you can stop and start them or use EC2 Systems Manager Run Command to modify the security group for running instances.
