What do you understand by Kurtosis() and Skew() functions?
Answer / Pritam Paul
In QlikView, the Kurtosis() function calculates the measure of the 'tailedness' of a probability distribution. It indicates whether a distribution is more or less peaked than a normal distribution. The Skew() function measures the asymmetry of a probability distribution around its mean. A positive skew means the tail extends to the right (more data points on the right side of the mean), while a negative skew means the tail extends to the left.
