what is hypervisor in cloud computing and their types?
Answer / Mukesh Kumar
A hypervisor, also known as a virtual machine manager, is a software layer that allows multiple operating systems to run concurrently on a single physical computer. In cloud computing, it creates and manages virtual machines (VMs). There are two main types of hypervisors: Type 1 (native or bare-metal) hypervisors, which run directly on the hardware, and Type 2 (hosted) hypervisors, which run as a software application on an existing operating system. Examples of Type 1 hypervisors include VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Xen. Examples of Type 2 hypervisors include Oracle VirtualBox, VMware Workstation, and Parallels Desktop.
