AWS Direct Connect provides a dedicated network connection between your on-premises infrastructure and Amazon Web Services. If the AWS Direct Connect link fails, you can configure failover options to maintain your connectivity. For example, you can use multiple links or leverage AWS Virtual Private Gateway as a backup.
