Why the bubbles are seen in in LB plates?

Answer / dr x
Air bubbles in LB plates are usually seen in plates that
were stored at 4 degrees and then incubated at 37 degrees
overnight. The reason for this being expansion of the air
trapped in the LB resulting from incomplete drying of the
plates at the time of pouring and preparing.
The best way to get over it is to pour the plates and to dry
it for ~ 10 mts under the hood (Laminar flow hood).
