defference between capital assets and fixed assets
What is the purpose of accounts like e.g. expense accounts assigned a account number 0040, principal account assigned anumber 0060.In our general ledger software such numbers are assigned.I want to know how these numbers (accounts) help in maintaing accounts of a company (like bank reconciliation).
why should we treat closing stock credit side in trading account , and why the reason the closing stock should not appear in the trial balance ?

Entry for revenue item will be Expenses A/C Dr to Cash. But in the Profit and Loss account we will see the expenses with a pre fix of To Expenses Why?
