In simple word Public Prosecutor means a person who is having LL.B. degree and practicing Advocate but only on behalf of and for Government only. P.P. can't fight personal matters. He has to appear on behalf of State i.e. Government only. In both Civil and Criminal cases where State has been made party in those cases P.P. has been appointed as an Advocate on behalf of State.
