Answer / swathi
Homogenization is intensive blending of mutually related
substances or groups of mutually related substances to form
a constant of different insoluble phases (sometimes with
addition of surfactants) to obtain a suspension or emulsion.
Sonication is the act of applying sound (usually
ultrasound) energy to agitate particles in a sample, for
various purposes.

Sonication can be used to speed dissolution, by breaking
intermolecular interactions. It is especially useful when it
is not possible to stir the sample.
homogenization (həmŏj'ənəzā'shən), process in which a
mixture is made uniform throughout. Generally this procedure
involves reducing the size of the particles of one component
of the mixture and dispersing them evenly throughout the
other component.
