APPSC was my interest from my college(thats in 2000) days but could not pursue due to circumstances. Now I have the affordable money and time. I was browsing google and came across this site. I appreciate the way people have responded with answers and I want your suggestion, please. I am an MCA with 4yrs work exp. Now if I want to give APPSC can any of you suggest: 1)what papers I can opt for. some said public Admin and sociology but I want something in combination with computers. can you please !! 2)how much time per day do we need to dedicate at home if we are wokring and attending to coaching classes. this will help me have an idea If i can or cant I !! 3)seeing politics soo much in our country involved in everything, how best do you think are these APPSC exams w.r.t job if you get posted. 4)APPSC is not was it was in the days before once you join the job when posted. Its all ppolitics now. Is it worth for these exams or is working in pvt companies safe with no politiical hustle. If its job dignity then yes, but if its money and peaceful work, then is it ???? 5)Can I please know usually which month are the prelims exams, the mains and the interview. I read your answers ... I was surprised to see that it takes 2.5yrs to get posted after you give the exams!!!!!!!! I lookforward to your answers to help me decide better. Thanks sreelatha
