earnings is nothing but excess amount derived from day to day
activities e.g sales services etc and profit means excess
amount derived from non recurring activities e.g sale of
machinery

Earning means getting money by doing day to day activities
e.g. I am getting salary on monthly basis. And profit means
doing such activity by intentionally to get surplus or
profit by deducting cost incurred (direct & indirect).
Earning is not always profit but profit is always earning.

I have received a cheque from customer and i deposited into the bank next 4-5 days cheque has been bounced by the bank. Pls tell me what is reverce entry in the tally for cheque bounced and which option i will enter in journal or payment entry. Salary . is it direct exp or indrect exp.
