residential area from forests

Their are many ways to avoid elephants form residential area
like electric fencing, by fire and noise from drum and
crackers. But the permanent solution is to conserve their
habitat, what i believe it will lead to peaceful end of this
conflict.

if we make canal [30 mit wide and 25 mit deep atleast] around the forest
and keep the canal full with water though out the days we can keep
elephants away form locality.
