thats NOT TRUE. people tell u like that to just console you.
sbi is making recruitement process very confidential.
if any says anything dont believe. if there are any cases
like that it may be very very few. because no body has access to your marks even top level managers.
many friends of mine were selected without paying a rupee.
as far as i know you need to answer atleast 180(may be 170) in written if you are in General category and 160 if you
have any reservations.
so dont worry about that and next time make good score
in written test next time and face interview well. all

First of all wish u all a very very happy dipawali. It's
now one month we have not received our medical/offer letter
and lot of questions are coming into our mind regarding the
same, I would suggest to all friends to just keep patience
and wait for official notice of state bank of india. As of
now, none has got the medical/offer letter, so don't get
panic and also don't get confused.
I would also request to all the selected candidates to keep
ourselves updated and share any information regarding
medical/offer letter so that we can help each other.

hi aditi, dont lose hope. there are many who selected after
number of trails. for ur information. sbi has the following
formula for selection:
ur written marks will be averaged for 70
for qualification(comp knowledge etc) 10
for interview max marks = 20
finally make it for 100. so u need to score well in written.
thats why many not get selected even they make it for interview
and even they perform well there.

I've cleared sbi clerical written exam held on nov 2009.But in my 12th std I've scored 59.6% only..But as per the eligibility there should be 60% in 12th std and 40% in graduation..In my graduation I hav 80% and in my post graduation I hav 70%...but I've 59.6% only in 12th so somebody pls tell me whether they will allow me to attend the interview or not..?.. tell me whether I'm eligible for selection in sbi clerical exam... And pls tell me whether they will neglect my 12th std mark and consider my grad and post grad marks or not..??.. Had any one faced any such problem... pls reply..
