the syntax is niping -t. It is used to check whether the
application server is reachable or not. i.e working properly.

The syntax of niping command is "NIPING -t",it will
selftest its own system and will give an output as testok
whether the r/3 system is installation was successful.

selftest whether the SAP Application Server is working
properly and is up.

Hi,
The Syntax of niping command is "niping -t" and it is case
sensitive and it will self test the SAP Application Server
and if the self test is "OK" then one can assume that SAP
Application server is installed properly and running
properly.
