Mount Point
in unix/linux/solaris box we used to call as mount points
and is the place where Files and folders will be stored.
File system
file system is different.example NTFS/EXT3/EXT2/ and etc
Each mount point may have different filesystem based on
requirement.
filesystem can be defined as way(format)the files are stored
on disk

Hi,
Mount Point something when we start dba in SAP Basis and
the procedure to start Mount Point is goto
cmd---c:/usr/sap/sid/sys/exe:/SAPDBA and press enter and
type start and when the start is entered the Sapdba gets
Mounted and one can check for the same by selecting work
process and it will show the status of Mount Point as
started.
File System is something related to system files present in
System32 .
