if two company have equal position in market and they want
increase market share so they merger.
when a stronger company aquire the weaker company, it is
called aquisition.
because they want maximize their wealth and market share

merger is a combination of two companies, and its motive to

maximization. for example- hero honda, brook bond, bru etc.
